Hello Everyone, It is week 5, and we are working on forms! I am enjoying learning about the various form field types and how to apply them. I started with the Lab this week as it seems this will help significantly with the project user feedback form. I found the lesson videos to be beneficial this week and would recommend watching them.

ReplyDeleteYou're right that various form field types and how to apply them can be fun. But only when they work they way you want it. I agreed that professor video is very helpful to understand. I have not started yet on my website or lab, but going to start soon. Since I work at night it is hard to do work in the day time. Well good luck for this week.

ReplyDeleteThis is the fun part; working with forms is exciting to watch your site come alive via forms. Web forms in all are a basic puzzle piece for any online activity. Whether for organizing a business event, carrying a seasonal sale, or simply asking for feedback regarding your company, all interactions pass through some sort of web form.

ReplyDeleteYour form is looking really solid, I like what you did with the drop down bars for the credit card dates. I too have really been enjoying this week’s homework and the class in general. I’ve watched the video the professor posted about this week’s assignment, and it really helped me to get on the right track. I also agree with you on how much easier the course project is this week when you have the lab completed, for the most part you can just copy and paste your lab code over. Good luck with the rest of the lab!

ReplyDeleteThe videos were extremely helpful, I agree. I am sure that by now you have perfected your lab and I am sure it looks great! I could see from your image that you got a good start on getting the form started, the rest was really just tweaking the css to make it more appealing. That is what I catch myself spending the most time on, is tweaking the css to make my page look exactly the way I want it to. I like how you added some more details that weren't necessarily required such as the credit card expiration etc. I was kind of thinking the same thing, there were many aspects that I wanted to add on to, but I didn't want to get too carried away, which I would! So I just kept it to the basics. I hope you enjoyed the lab and the continued work on our course project this week. Looks like you are doing just fine though.
