Hello Everyone, I'm behind this week so I do not have much progress to report. I started looking the lab documentation this week, but have not had the chance to watch the video that the professor posted. I'm looking forward to apply Javascript to the lab and to my project this week. Using Javascript opens up  whole world of capabilities.

Update:

I was able complete my Lab yesterday. It was a little bit of trial and error, but I was able to complete it:

Hello Everyone, It is week 5, and we are working on forms! I am enjoying learning about the various form field types and how to apply them. I started with the Lab this week as it seems this will help significantly with the project user feedback form. I found the lesson videos to be beneficial this week and would recommend watching them.

I still have a lot of work to do, but this is my progress on my Lab so far:

Hello Classmates and welcome to Week 4. I started this week working on the Lab. I have done some searching and have seen many ways to create an image slideshow in CSS. Most examples use the @keyframe animation rule, but I have found a few that don't. I have decided which way I want to do this yet, but adding in text title complicates things a little.

Hello Everyone. We are in week 3 and I have been working on my project first this week. I created my page layout design after watching the professors video this week. I decided to go with a more slender layout as I have read this is better for mobile devices. My project is a site dedicated to Backcountry Fly Fishing.  Backcountry Fly Fishing is going far into the wild, usually backpacking, to find bodies of water that are rarely fished and fish that may have never been hooked.

Hi everyone, I hope your enjoying week two. I have been working with my CSS for the Lab and I'm slowing getting there! I think I have gotten everything to work so far. I only have the Part C left to do. Learning about CSS and the many, many different ways you can control formatting has been pretty interesting.

To start this blog, I should say I have never blogged before, so this will be a new experience for me. As a student in CIS363B Web Interface Design at DeVry, I will be using this blog to update my professor and classmates on my project updates, weekly labs and general course progress. To that end, I have started working on the course project and the lab for this week. It appears that both are pretty straightforward. I will post again as I have more to share, but until then I look forward to learning web design with Professor Perry and the rest of my classmates.
